Why This Resource Exists
Marion County’s official jail directory covers people currently in custody. Once a listing disappears, the screen alone cannot show whether the person bonded out, completed a sentence, transferred to TDCJ, or moved to another agency. We organize the distinct routes: the Marion County Jail release entry, court orders, Texas IVSS alerts, the TDCJ offender search, and federal locators when a receiving agency points there.
The aim is practical record navigation. Each page distinguishes a current-custody result from a durable release or transfer record and links readers toward the office that created the information.

The site covers release and transfer verification from Marion County Jail, Texas post-release supervision, projected TDCJ dates, IVSS custody-change notices, recent-release record requests, and booking-photo records. It also separates county custody from four broader facility systems:
- Marion County Jail
- Texas Department of Criminal Justice facilities statewide
- Federal Bureau of Prisons facilities nationwide
- ICE detention system / ERO
These paths are not interchangeable. A county bond release will not normally create a TDCJ record, while a transfer to state, federal, or immigration custody is not a release into the community.

Marion County Released Inmates is privately operated. It has no affiliation with Marion County, the Sheriff’s Office, Marion County Jail, TDCJ, BOP, ICE, or any other government body. We cannot release a person, confirm a live custody status, retrieve an official record, alter a record, interpret a court order, or give legal advice.
This site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act. Its information and linked tools must not be used for credit, employment, insurance, tenant screening, or any other FCRA-covered decision.
